Youssoufa Moukoko, 14, scores a hat-trick in eight minutes for Dortmund U19s

Youssoufa Moukoko keeps on scoring goals

When Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi retire, who is going to step up and take their place at the top of world football?

Kylian Mbappe, Joao Felix and Jadon Sancho are just some of the names that could easily become the world's best player.

But what about Borussia Dortmund youngster, Youssoufa Moukoko?

The 14-year-old has been making headlines in the past few years for Dortmund's youth teams.

He scored 90 goals in 56 appearances for the Under-17s at just 13-years-old.

Nike recognised his talent and handed him an eye-watering €10m contract earlier this year.

And he was rewarded for his proficiency in front of goal by being promoted to the Under-19s at the start of the season.

By playing against players five years older than him, you would have expected Moukoko's goalscoring to slow at the new age group.

But that hasn't been the case.

The Cameroon-born striker shocked everyone by scoring a ridiculous six goals on his debut for the U19s earlier this month.

Youssoufa Moukoko won't be able to play for Dortmund first team until he's 16

Surprisingly, he suffered a bit of a goal drought after failing to net in his next two games.

But he bounced back in style against Arminia Bielefeld U19s on Sunday.

Moukoko was the star of the show as he scored an eight-minute hat-trick.

He opened the scoring in the 25th minute, before netting his second and third goals of the game in the 28th and 32nd minute.

What a player. That means he has now netted nine times in four games.

With a goalscoring record like that, surely the first team would be following his progress closely.

But unfortunately it will be a few years before we see him in the first team. That's because Bundesliga rules stay the minimum age required to play is 16.

That means it would be at least two years until we get to see him start for Dortmund.

But for BVB, he could well be worth the wait.
