WWE Hall of Famer Edge gave wrestling fans a taste of what they've been missing for all these years at SummerSlam.
As WWE's serial singer Elias ran down the city of Toronto on the SummerSlam Kickoff Show, he was interrupted by the Rated-R Superstar in his hometown.
No-one really expected what was to happen next though.
After soaking in the adulations of the crowd, Edge eyed up Elias across the ring, and for the first time in eight years, hit a Spear on another wrestler in a wrestling ring.
Edge had to retire from the ring in 2011, shortly after WrestleMania 27, due to a diagnosis of spinal stenosis, and that paralysis could occur if he continued to wrestle.

He's made sporadic appearances since stepping away from the ring, but he's never gotten physical until his Spear on Elias, and you could tell years of pent-up frustration were released at that very moment.
Upon seeing the moment, WWE fans went into overdrive, speculating that the Canadian may be getting cleared to return in the near future, and his latest Instagram post will do nothing to stop those rumours.
The 45-year-old looks to be in the best shape of his life - just look at him!
Edge's comments last week on his podcast, combined with this latest image have really got the WWE Universe discussing an unlikely return.
He told his former tag team partner Christian last week on their E&C's Podcast of Awesomeness that he feels like 'he could do a match tomorrow' - the only problem was getting WWE's medical staff to clear him.
It would be a huge, huge risk for WWE's team to do anything like that, but we know how tempting money from Saudi Arabia is to retired superstars, so will Edge be begging the company to help him out?
We're not sure, but there's a split amongst the fans when it comes to this when it's all said and done.
Some fans really want to see him lace up his boots, even if its just one final time, but on the flip side there is a section who don't want to see him risk his health and well-being for the rest of his life.News Now - Sport News
