Boxing legend Ricky Hatton revealed today that he accidentally spent £835 on a premium Kobe Ribeye steak whilst on holiday in Greece.

The "Hitman" accumulated a food bill worth over £1,750 at the Nammos restaurant in Mykonos, Greece, with his girlfriend Charlie.

Alongside the eye-wateringly expensive steak, Hatton also ordered a £450 bottle of champagne, a £100 prosecco and £110 worth of gin.

Seeing the funny side of the ordeal, Hatton took to Instagram to joke: "Just woke up this morning in a puddle of f****** tears.

"That's what you get for being a fat greedy little s***.

"I just ordered it. Didn't look.

"The bill came and the fun police [Hatton's nickname for his girlfriend] just started laughing. Wow."

It appears that Hatton isn't the only person to have been caught out by the extortionate prices at the restaurant, with many customers leaving less than favourable reviews on TripAdvisor, some even branding it the worst place in Mykonos.

One reviewer said: "Waiters are exceptionally rude. Told they didn't have a certain bottle of rosé so you had to order something more expensive when in fact they did have it."

Another commented: "Over rated, pretentious, over priced, poor attitude by staff, poor service."

A third diner added: "Nothing Greek about this place. It's just a place for people who care about image or who care about showing they have money. If that's your scene you will love it, but plan on spending 1000 euros minimum."

Hatton's followers on Instagram were also seemingly equally shocked, with one saying: "I'm more shocked at £9 for fresh orange"

Another joked: "Ouch, I'd s*** it out and eat it again."

Hatton was also filmed partying out in Tenerife last week, falling over with his t-shirt wrapped over his face, dancing to Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long'.'

Clearly Hatton is firmly in the holidaying spirit, and it doesn't look like an expensive slice of steak is going to stop the Hitman from going out again any time soon.
