Ronda Rousey has not been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35, and that was four long months ago.

Many fans knew she would be taking a little hiatus from the company after her year-long stint, and she's always stated her desire to start a family with her UFC fighter husband Travis Browne, even telling her Instagram followers she was going on an 'impregnation vacation'.

From what we know, no impregnation has happened so far, and there's been no sightings of her on television at all.

She's posted a few vlogs to YouTube but her presence four months later is greatly missed, and hopefully she returns to the ring soon.

But what we now know is she will be returning to our screens very, very soon.

As per an official announcement from the E! network today, Rousey has officially joined the cast of the reality series Total Divas.

Whilst not really being a diva, the addition of Rousey may bring in some extra viewers for her name value alone and it'll be interesting to see what she gets up to away from the ring.

It's also interesting to note that Rousey is officially also an 'executive producer', which means she may have a big say on what gets shown and what doesn't.

It seems as though the new series will start at the beginning of 2019 from the synopsis that WWE have given on their official website, and the trailer that shows Nia Jax performing in the Royal Rumble match.

Rousey isn't the only new addition to the series, with WWE's first-ever openly-lesbian superstar Sonya Deville joining the cast, and former Miss Money In The Bank Carmella will also be appearing - and her relationship with Corey Graves may be shown on-air.

The Bella Twins will also be making guest appearances at some point, but for now it's all about Rousey and fans can see the first episode of the new series on October 2.
