Despite not being at Monday Night Raw this week, Becky Lynch managed to find the time to respond to Sasha Banks' terrible promo from the show.

Banks opened Raw this week and explained why she attacked Natalya and why she had been away from the WWE since losing the Women's Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 35.

The Boss stated she did all of those things because she was relegated to a tag title match that she did not care about, for titles that hold little meaning, but Lynch, on the other hand, main evented WrestleMania.

She then claimed attacking Natalya was part of her plan since she's the standard-bearer of the division, but then The Queen of Harts emerged to attack her before they were separated by WWE officials.

Banks and Natalya then had a match later on in the show, which The Boss won easily by issuing The Bank Statement.

Despite not being on Raw this week since she was on vacation with Seth Rollins, according to PWInsider, Lynch managed to find the time on Twitter to respond to Banks' bad promo.

The Man said in a tweet: "Pity you can’t promo in emo memes and song lyrics too, huh?"

After the past few weeks of Raw, it's clear to see that WWE is working towards Lynch vs Banks for the Raw Women's Championship at Clash of Champions on September 15.

While WWE still has plenty of time before Clash of Champions and their match at the show will be great, The Boss' promo at the start of Raw was underwhelming, as there were too many points packed into it and not enough depth.

She essentially said she wants a title shot because she's popular, a storyline angle fans are getting tedious with since it's a go-to angle WWE use when they want Charlotte Flair in a title picture.

There are still two weeks for WWE to add more context to this storyline to give it more meaning, but WWE creative definitely needed Lynch on the show this week for Banks to bounce off to get this feud going.
