Bray Wyatt's The Fiend advertised for Universal title match at WWE Hell in a Cell

Bray Wyatt's The Fiend is one of the most popular superstars amongst WWE fans, and as a result, he could be inserted straight to the top of WWE's title picture.

WWE fans finally got a look at The Fiend in a match at SummerSlam earlier this month when he easily defeated Finn Balor in his debut match.

Wyatt looked as dominant as he had been against all other superstars he had intercepted during Monday Night Raw in the build-up to WWE's biggest party of the summer.

Even bigger scalps could be in his crosshairs in the future, especially if you believe reports about his plans for the Hell in a Cell show later this year.

The Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, which will be hosting Hell in a Cell on October 6, tweeted out that Wyatt's The Fiend will take on either Seth Rollins or Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship on the show.

This seems to imply that Wyatt will face whoever wins the scheduled Universal title match between Rollins and Strowman which is set to take place at Clash of Champions on September 15.

The Fiend hasn't been seen on WWE TV since he attacked Jerry 'The King' Lawler on Raw last week, but if these reports are true, he'll be getting personal with either The Beastslayer or The Monster Among Men very soon.

This would be the first time Wyatt has been heavily involved in a major title picture in WWE since he feuded with Randy Orton over the WWE title around WrestleMania 33.

If he wins the title, it will be his first world title reign since he beat AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, and The Miz inside the Elimination Chamber at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in 2017.

Of course, for now, we have to take this bit of news with a pinch of salt as nothing has been confirmed by WWE and everything is subject to change, especially with how fluid WWE seems to be with their storylines these days.

However, the fact Wyatt as The Fiend could very well be back in a major title picture soon is a very exciting storyline to think about.
