Ever since he retired from the NFL, Rob Gronkowski has been heavily linked with signing with the WWE, and now the man himself has spoken about his wrestling future.
Gronkowski is the kind of person WWE would love to have in their ranks. A charismatic big guy that is athletic and knows enough about the business to succeed in the ring.
So when he retired from the New England Patriots and the NFL earlier this year, reports about him possibly signing with WWE began to emerge.
WWE teased their interest in the former tight end, and now the man himself has done the same.
According to PWInsider, during a recent media conference call, Gronkowski talked about his possible future in WWE, saying he wouldn't like to be a full-time superstar, but he would like to have a match.

He said: "With wrestling, I don't feel like I would be a full-time wrestler, but there is one thing I'm down for. And that's to do one crazy match.
"Practice it for a little bit, go out there, like in a Royal Rumble, go out there, I got my friend in WWE (Mojo Rawley), practice it and do a full-on WWE match."
While Gronkowski teased a WWE match, he refused to say exactly when he would step inside the squared circle. He did state it's not going to be for at least a few years yet.
He said: "I'm not saying when. Maybe five years. I got the rest of my life to do that. I've always dreamed about doing that, just one time, going in there and going full out. That may be a possibility, one time, down the road."
The former Patriots star has taken part in a WWE show before, as he helped his friend and current superstar Mojo Rawley win the Andre the Giant Battle Royale at WrestleMania 33.
On that night, Gronkowski jumped inside the squared circle and shoulder tackled Jinder Mahal to the ground to help Rawley win the match.
Gronk would likely pair up with Rawley again when, rather than if, he makes another WWE appearance since he's interested in having a match in the ring.News Now - Sport News
