After a turbulent stint within the illustrious career of Andy Murray, the Scotsman has recently returned to the singles court following injury. It is safe to say that fellow professionals and fans alike are both delighted to see him back on the court and playing once again.Murray breezed past 17-year-old Imran Sibille to reach the next round of the Rafael Nadal Open, hosted in Mallorca, Spain. The shining face of the tournament, Nadal himself, spoke about his delight for Murray as he returned to the singles game following hip surgery in January. "It's great news that Andy is back on the tennis court playing singles, after a lot of problems. He's been suffering for the last couple of years so I'm happy for him especially."

As Nadal spoke of these kind words, his speech was met with an outburst of applaud - ultimately recognising the kindness and respect between two leading individuals within the world of tennis.

Murray, who has fallen from grace due to injuries that resulted in limited playing time, ranks 328th in the world. Furthermore, the former Wimbledon victor secured success in style, winning two sets 6-0, 6-1. However, Sibille, who's an apprentice at the Rafael Nadal academy, managed to win a set against Murray.

Regarding his return, Murray said: "It was good, it's nice to get back on the court playing matches again."

He continued: "It's nice so many people came out to watch. It's a brilliant place to play tennis and great conditions."

Regarding the next round, Murray continued his steam-train success as he defeated 117th seed Norbert Gombos yesterday to progress. In the lead-up to the match, Murray described facing Gombos as a 'good test' with the Scotsman recording a 6-3, 6-4 victory.

Although far from his best, Murray will be looking to make a return in jaw-dropping fashion by hopefully gaining another title to his name. Furthermore, Murray has recently announced that he has pulled out of the US Open doubles in order to focus upon his singles game.
