The amount of money fans are willing to spend on new kits each season really is eye-watering. Tottenham's kit was recently revealed as the most expensive in the Premier League. The shirt on its own is £90, the shorts are £55, and even the socks will set you back £16. That's a total of £161 to make yourself look a bit like Harry Kane. With that kind of money at stake, English football's top sides are understandably vying with one another for the honour of the most aesthetically pleasing kit.

Liverpool's replica gear certainly doesn't come cheap either at £95 per jersey, or £137.98 for the whole lot.

That said, it's particularly classy this year. Just look at those pinstripes:

New Balance have been serving the Reds since securing a partnership with them in 2015.

This year, they've also brought out a rather suave 'Manager's Collection' for the Jurgen Klopp wannabes.

On top of that, a new special edition 'blackout' shirt has just been released.

Not only does it look pretty slick on its own, a great deal of thought has been put into the intricacies.

It's been unveiled as part of the celebrations of the centenary of the legendary Bob Paisley's birth, which have been taking place throughout 2019.

The iconic manager's signature can be found on the inside of the neck.

The font on the front of the shirt is also iridescent, meaning it changes colour in certain lights. Incredible.

The pinstripes are also featured as a tribute to Liverpool's 1982/83 strip, dating to when Paisley was in charge.

New Balance kits haven't always been universally loved by Kopites - the less said about that purple away kit last season the better - but they've really pulled this one out of the bag.
