Ever since Vince McMahon brought the 'Wild Card Rule' to WWE back in May, there have been endless issues that have come along with it.

With ratings sliding even after the Superstar Shake-up, McMahon thought up a way to get the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins on both shows if needs be, but in-turn it has overexposed some superstars and left many on the sidelines.

There were suggestions weeks ago that the ruling would be 'quietly ending' in the coming weeks but as of right now, it hasn't happened.

Just look at this weeks Raw and SmackDown - Bayley appeared on both, The Revival were also present on both Monday and Tuesday and Roman Reigns' struggles continue to be advertised on Raw even though he's mainly appearing on the blue brand.

There may be a fix to it all in the near future though according to Dave Meltzer.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer stated, per Reddit: "Right now there is a concept of another draft type of thing to build permanent Raw and Smackdown rosters.

"What we were originally told is that they wouldn't be making major changes, but some changes, but this is Vince. Everything is being kept quiet and USA [Network] and FOX will be the first to know when the concept is decided."

Considering the current confusion of who is on what brand, a re-draft would be very much welcome and it brings more excitement to the product.

But how will a draft work when there's no real authority figures?

If you remember correctly, the McMahons called the WWE Universe the 'authority' back in December, pretty much stripping the commissioner and GM of each brand of their powers.

That's not happened at all though and you'd assume that if the hard split is coming back, which it should considering USA Network and FOX won't be wanting to promote each others superstars, you'd need some new authority figures to boot.

SmackDown's debut show on FOX is on October 4, so if any draft is going to happen, it's going to have to be very soon indeed.
