One of the potential most surprising returns in recent times to WWE will not be happening,
Earlier today it was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that WWE officials had been in contact with none-other than Enzo Amore and Big Cass with a return to the company.
Meltzer reported that they were wanted to spearhead the NXT brand as it prepares to go live and two hours long on USA Network in a few weeks time.
But a WWE spokesperson has confirmed to several companies, including Pro Wrestling Sheet, that there's no truth to the reports that they're in talks with the troubled pairing.
It would be incredible to even think that Vince McMahon would even entertain the thought of re-signing Enzo after his antics at Survivor Series last year.

Both mens careers on the independent scene hasn't really hit the big time - it's more Enzo's actions away from the ring that have got the most attention since they both departed WWE.
The former Cruiserweight Champion managed to sneak into the area under disguise and grabbed a seat ringside, where he proceeded to hijack the start of the match between AOP and The Bar.
Since then he has re-united with his former tag partner Cass on the indies, where the latter faced Jon Moxley in a losing effort back in June.
And a few months before that Enzo and Cass attacked Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling stars at the G1 Supercard event over WrestleMania weekend.
If Enzo can stay away from doing and getting involved in controversial things and Cass can control his personal issues that got him fired from WWE, then they could be a major asset to any wrestling promotion in the world.
There's no doubting they will find a home eventually somewhere in wrestling - it just doesn't look like it's going to be WWE anytime soon.News Now - Sport News
