All the opening fixtures for the 2019/20 Champions League

The opening week of the Champions League is going to be unreal

So the draw for the group stage of the 2019/20 Champions League draw has been completed.

The four Premier League sides in the competition will be pleased with their opponents for the first stage of the tournament, especially Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola's side will face Atalanta, Dinamo Zagreb and Shakhtar Donetsk, while rivals Liverpool drew Napoli, Red Bull Salzburg and Genk.

Chelsea will meet Ajax, Lille and Valencia, with Tottenham drawing Bayern Munich, Olympiakos and Red Star Belgrade.

Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan and Slavia Prague will meet in the designated 'group of death'.

There are going to be some spectacular clashes between European heavyweights and the opening week of the competition is going to be epic.

So many screens are going to be needed that week.

It's rare - almost unheard of - to have four fixtures between a quartet of Europe's top sides in one single game week.

Napoli v Liverpool, Dortmund v Barca, PSG v Real Madrid and Atletico v Juventus - if someone told you that was the quarter-final lineup, no one would bat an eyelid.

And then we still have the likes of Chelsea v Valencia and Spurs' trip to Greece, just to whet the appetite some more.
