F2 driver Anthoine Hubert has died after a horrific crash at Spa this afternoon.The 22-year-old was involved in a collision with American Juan Manuel Correa at approximately 170mph at the Raidillon swerves having already hit the barrier.The FIA report that Correa is in a stable condition at Liege hospital.The race did not restart following the incident and medics descended on the scene immediately.As a matter of respect, we are choosing not to share the footage that has been circulating online.

Several other drivers were caught up in the crash. Giuliano Alesi was later forced to pull over while Marino Sato was able to walk back to the paddock.

Mercedes were among the first F1 teams to send their condolences, writing on Twitter:

"The entire Mercedes family sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Anthoine Hubert, and his Arden and Renault teams on this tragic day."

It's desperately sad news and our thoughts are with Hubert's family and friends at this tragic time.
