Liverpool maintained their 100 per cent winning start to the season by beating Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor.A Chris Wood own goal put the Reds ahead before Sadio Mane made it 2-0 shortly before half-time.Roberto Firmino made sure of the three points by scoring 10 minutes before full-time.However, there were surprising scenes in the 85th minute after Jurgen Klopp sent on Divock Origi in place of Mane.Mane is usually cool as a cucumber - but he was fuming after walking off the pitch.

The Senegal international was angrily gesticulating on the bench and had to be calmed down by his teammates.

This wasn’t a typical reaction from Mane - but Sky Sports believe he was so angry because Mohamed Salah failed to pass to him moments earlier.

Mane was unmarked inside the box and would almost certainly have scored had Salah passed to him.

But the Egyptian decided to try and beat his opponent and, in the process, ended up losing possession.

Mane applauded the Liverpool fans after walking off the pitch but was still visibly annoyed.

"Sadio Mane is an emotional guy, we are all individuals," Klopp told Sky Sports after the match.

"Something went not like he wanted, it is not the substitution. We will clarify it in the dressing room."
