Arsenal fan phones up BBC Radio 5 Live claiming Unai Emery's side will win the Premier League

Arsenal FC v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League

It’s hard to know whether Arsenal fans will be satisfied or not after their 2-2 draw with Spurs in the north London derby.

The Gunners went into the clash as favourites after two wins from their opening three matches.

Meanwhile, Spurs entered the game having lost at home to Newcastle last weekend and reports suggesting this could be Mauricio Pochettino’s final game in charge.

But as the game entered first half injury-time, Spurs led 2-0 thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and a Harry Kane penalty.

But the entire match changed when Alexandre Lacazette scored a brilliant goal to haul Arsenal back into the tie.

The Gunners dominated after the break and finally got themselves back on level terms with 20 minutes remaining thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Arsenal couldn’t find a winner but they definitely ended the match the stronger side and will be pleased with their overall performance.

The point leaves them in fifth but two points above Spurs, Manchester United and Chelsea.

However, they’re already five points behind league leaders Liverpool.

But that didn’t stop one Arsenal fan from phoning up BBC Radio 5 Live claiming that his side are going to win the Premier League this season.

No, really.

The Gooner, called Tom, was genuinely serious when he claimed Unai Emery’s side will trump Liverpool and Manchester City to the title.

To make his point, he claimed David Luiz is better than Virgil van Dijk, Pepe is better than Mohamed Salah and Mesut Ozil is better than Kevin de Bruyne.

Take a listen:

Deary me.
