If there’s a better match in Serie A this season than Juventus vs Napoli, then we’re in for an absolute treat. On Saturday evening, the two clubs clashed in Turin in what proved to be a quite incredible match. The contest appeared over after 62 minutes when Cristiano Ronaldo made it 3-0, following first half goals from Danilo and Gonzalo Higuain. It was far from over, though.Within six minutes, it was 3-2 with Konstantinos Manolas and Hirving Lozano hauling Napoli back into the match.

And it looked as though Napoli had rescued a point when Giovanni Di Lorenzo equalised with nine minutes left.

But there was still time for Kalidou Koulibaly to score a spectacular own goal to give Juve a 4-3 victory in injury-time.

Phew.

In all that madness, you might have missed Ronaldo producing a quite ridiculous sprint at the age of 34.

In the build-up to Juve’s opener, scored by Danilo, Cristiano sprinted 92 meters at speed of 33.12km/h in 10 seconds looking for a pass from Douglas Costa.

Despite that crazy sprint, Costa ignored him and, instead, squared the ball to Danilo who finished.

He may not have received the ball but he no doubt distracted Napoli defenders - especially running at that speed.

To think that he’s 34 is rather staggering, isn’t it?

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has kept himself in tremendous shape throughout his career and has enabled him to remain one of the best in the world for more than a decade.

He certainly shows no signs of slowing down.
