When it comes to global football superstars, they don't come much bigger than Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward has become a household name the world over - even in homes where football isn’t commonplace. You could go to the furthest corners of the globe and still easily find someone who can tell you something about his incredible exploits on a football field. The 34-year-old has shown no signs of slowing down either, and is still the fastest player at his current club Juventus, despite being one of the more senior members of the squad. With five Champions League titles and five Ballons d’Or (to name but a few of his honours), Ronaldo is one of the most decorated footballers of his generation.

It is no surprise then, that following Portugal’s Euro 2020 qualifying clash with Serbia, Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic’s sons asked their dad to help them get a picture with Ronaldo.

Matic waited for the Portuguese outside his dressing room and took the snap himself while his starstruck sons posed with their hero.

You can see the lovely moment in the video below:

Brilliant - everyone wants a piece of the icon.

Now Matic is no mug - he does, after all, play for Manchester United and has won the Premier League title on no less than three occasions with Chelsea.

However, even his own kin know that there is no one quite like Ronaldo.

Ronaldo will be hoping to guide his Juventus side to European glory this season as they try to end their long and painful drought in continental football.

If there is anyone capable of inspiring them to that final in Istanbul next year, it’s Ronaldo.

Should he manage to clinch a sixth winners medal in the European Cup, then you can be sure he will be posing for a few more pictures in the aftermath.
