‘So you’re telling me Pep Guardiola isn’t having an influence on English football?’This is a meme which has been doing the rounds a lot on social media in recent days and there have been some belting tweets. It all stems from a clip of Rochdale scoring an excellent team goal a couple of weeks ago. A tweet with the video embedded was posted by a Manchester City fan alongside the caption: “Right so f**king ROCHDALE scored this goal and you’re telling me Pep Guardiola isn’t having an influence on English football??”Since then people have been taking the mickey by posting videos of random football clips. We’ve embedded some of the best further down this page.
