Dereck Chisora has threatened to pull out of his fight with Joseph Parker unless Eddie Hearn makes their bout the main event.Ever the controversial figure in a sport full of them, Chisora single-handedly forced Sky Sports to cut from their Facebook livestream after he went off at Hearn. The British boxer was left furious after waiting until the final press conference of his fight against Joseph Parker to slam promoter Hearn for making the fight an undercard event to the Josh Taylor vs Regis Prograis light welterweight unification fight. The Scot clashes with the American in the World Boxing Super Series, with the winner taking home the Muhammad Ali trophy. It is a competition, though, that Del Boy claims “no one cares about.”Instead, the fighter believes that his heavyweight clash is what will bring in the ticket sales. He was quick to blame Hearn and interrupted the promoter on several occasions during the conference to criticise the lighter division.

A video released on Twitter has clipped a segment of the cut section from the stream and you can see exactly why Sky excluded the feud from their stream.

Chisora opens by questioning who the main event of the fight actually is. He revealed that if it is anybody other than him, it isn’t going to work. Moments later, the man looking to bring war declared that he will accept nothing other than a main event fight.

Chisora was part of the explosive undercard for the Dillian Whyte vs Oscar Rivas fight where he took on Artur Szpilka in one of the highlights of the night. Now, though, the Brit does not want to feature as another chief support, feeling as though he is ready to start headlining fights again.

Prograis fought his own corner and responded by saying: “We’re number one and number two in the division”, to which the heavyweight responded: “No one cares about you.”

He then proceeded to storm out of the conference when the two current headliners were addressing the media.

David Haye has also revealed that Chisora has split with trainer Dave Coldwell. The two had only joined forces just under seven months ago.
