EA Sports announced the top 100 players on FIFA 20 earlier on Monday.

Lionel Messi is rated the highest rated player (94), followed by Cristiano Ronaldo (93) and Neymar (92).

Liverpool emerged into one of the best teams in the world last season and that's reflected by their players stats.

Seven of their star studded squad have cracked the top 100.

Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are the team's best players on the upcoming game. Both have been given 90 ratings.

Alisson Becker is the joint best goalkeeper in the Premier League, being given a 89 rating along with Manchester United's David de Gea.

Sadio Mane is rated 88, while Fabinho and Andy Robertson (both 85 rated) also crack the top 100.

Roberto Firmino is also among the 100 best players, but his rating hasn't gone down well with Liverpool fans.

The Brazilian forward might not be as prolific as Mane and Salah but he's arguably Liverpool's most important player.

His work rate and style of play is crucial to how his side plays. Salah and Mane would not score as many goals without him.

He had another stunning season last year, scoring 16 times as he helped Liverpool to a record breaking campaign.

Firmino also helped the Reds to the Champions League and Super Cup, while he starred in Brazil's triumphant Copa America campaign.

He was rated 86 on FIFA 19 and was expected to be given a rise for the upcoming edition.

However, EA Sports clearly weren't that impressed with him.

Firmino's rating will stay the same for FIFA 20. You can view his stats below:

That makes him the 62nd best player in the world.

Firmino isn't the quickest of players so his pace rating seems fair, while there can't be many complaints about his 87 dribbling.

But he could feel hard done by for his rating in shooting (82), passing (80) and defending (61).

His overall rating of 86 is even more harsh considering he's rated lower than Paulo Dybala (88), Son Heung-min (87), Karim Benzema (87) and Dries Mertens (87).

Liverpool fans have expressed their dismay at his stats.

@Liverpoolroyalty wrote on Twitter: "This is a disgrace from FIFA 20. Firmino deserves at least an 88 rated card. Bobby is the system for Liverpool and he still is one of the most underrated players in the world. He’s arguably the most complete number 9 in the prem atm."

@vSmith1997 wrote: "Firmino 86 🤣🤣🤣. I’m convinced the Fifa lot don’t watch football."

@ardabazzzi also expressed his dismay, writing: "Fifa 20 ratings are a joke. Firmino 86 really! The guy won Champions League, Copa America and Super Cup. Should watch more football
