The Rock has accepted Jorge Masvidal’s invitation to have a really cool role at UFC 244 when Masvidal faces Nate Diaz.

UFC confirmed last week that Masvidal will take on Diaz at UFC 244 later this year on November 2 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The welterweight fight that every MMA wants to see will be headlining the card on the night, but it could be an even more special night if Gamebred wins the bout.

UFC has already announced that they will be producing a special BMF title for the bout, and BMF stands for 'Baddest Mother F***er'. However, it will be a 'one and done' title, meaning it will not be defended after the event.

After the fight was confirmed, Masvidal sent a message to The Rock asking him if he would present the BMF title to him should he win the fight.

To which, The Great One said he would be honoured to do so if he is able to make it to Madison Square Garden for the fight.

The Rock tweeted in reply to Gamebred: "Doing all I can to make this fight. If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG - consider it done.

"Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in UFC history. Can’t wait."

Having The Rock there at UFC 244 to present the BMF title will be pretty cool, and a moment which Masvidal will never forget if he wins the fight on the night.

The fight between Masvidal and Diaz has been in the works ever since The Stockton Fighter called out Masvidal following his win at UFC 241 last month against Anthony Pettis.

Diaz called out Masvidal after his victory, stating he wanted to fight him at a later date because he's the only other true gangster in UFC.

Gamebred most likely caught the attention of The Stockton Fighter after he stopped Ben Askren with a flying knee inside five seconds at UFC 239 back in July.

It looks set to be a great night later this year at UFC 244 between Masvidal and Diaz at Madison Square Garden, especially if The Rock shows up.
