Kevin De Bruyne endured a tough 2018/19 campaign.

The Man City midfielder suffered an injury plagued season which limited him to just two Premier League goals and two assists.

But it's been a different story this campaign.

De Bruyne has been majestic in Man City's start to the season.

In the opening four games, De Bruyne has hit the back of the net once and provided five assists.

And he's produced another masterclass for his country against Scotland on Monday night.

De Bruyne was by far the best player on the park as he helped his side to a 4-0 rout.

He provided three first half assists, before notching a goal for himself in the final 10 minutes.

And watch him put the icing on the cake with a fabulous finish late on...

What a player he is.

De Bruyne was one of the best midfielders in the world, if not the best midfielder in the world, prior to last season.

He was named in the UEFA Team of the Year in 2017 and later that season was named into the Premier League Team of the Year.

And he's now showing that form once again.

De Bruyne has played six times for club and country his season, scoring twice and providing eight assists.

If he manages to continue this form, there's no reason why he can't be a serious Ballon d'Or contender next year.
