Cesc Fabregas came off the bench to net another late penalty as 10-man Arsenal laboured into the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win over npower League One Huddersfield at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners, who made sweeping changes from the midweek Carling Cup semi-final win over Ipswich, took the lead when Nicklas Bendtner's angled shot deflected in off Terriers skipper Peter Clarke on 22 minutes.
Samir Nasri was forced off with a hamstring problem in the first period, and Sebastien Squillaci was sent off for blocking Jack Hunt's surging run in the first 45 minutes.
Alan Lee headed a deserved equaliser for the Terriers from a corner, sparking Arsene Wenger into action as he called some of his big guns off the bench.
Fabregas was one of them, and he stepped up to the spot after Jamie McCombe was adjudged to have pushed Bendtner over in the penalty area with only five minutes remaining. The Spaniard sent the skipper the wrong way to book a fifth round tie against Leyton Orient.
