Viewers were mightily confused when the TV cameras cut to a Bursaspor fan during their game against Fenerbahce on Sunday.

The Bursaspor supporter, proudly wearing his club’s shirt and scarf, was smoking a cigarette despite looking like a kid.

We’re being genuine here. He looked no older than 12 years old.

The fan was sitting next to a youngster and it looked pretty dodgy.

However, there’s been a twist in the story.

The fan isn’t a child. He’s actually a 36-year-old Bursaspor supporter who just happens to have incredibly youthful looks.

Benjamin Button, they should call him.

He’s called Cocuk and the youngster next to him is his son.

Talk about a plot twist.

We’re pretty sure this guy still has to carry his ID with him wherever he goes.

On the other hand, at least he can get kids’ tickets whenever he goes to the cinema.

Sunday’s match between Bursaspor and Fenerbahce was a friendly arranged to raise money for various causes.

Both teams sensed an opportunity to do some good during the international break.

All proceeds from the match, which Bursaspor won 2-1, were donated to organisations that fight against diseases such as leukaemia as well as foundations that support children with Down’s syndrome and autism.

Bursaspor are coming in the second tier of Turkish football following their relegation from the Super Lig last season.

Yalcin Kosukavak’s side are fourth in the table having won two of their first three matches.

Fenerbahce, meanwhile, are currently second in the Turkish top flight.

They will face stiff competition for the title from reigning champions Galatasaray, who added a slew of high-profile stars in the summer including Radamel Falcao, Mario Lemina, Ryan Babel, Steven Nzonzi and Jean Michael Seri.
