Vincent Kompany's testimonial took place at the Etihad last night. The Manchester City legend himself was actually injured and couldn't feature in the game himself, but there were still plenty of stars on the pitch. Players like Paul Scholes, Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie all played for the Premier League All Stars, while the likes of Mario Balotelli, David Silva and Sergio Aguero turned out for the City Legends team. Sky Sports pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were also playing for the All Stars on Wednesday night. And it took just 53 seconds for the pair to fall out, much like they do in the studio every week.

The pair exchanged words after it appeared the ex-Manchester United defender was at fault for City's opening goal.

Neville stepped up and tried to play the offside trap as Silva played a ball through to Martin Petrov, who then had a clear run at goal before firing his effort into the top corner.

The Sky pundit was seen complaining about how his teammates should have been deeper, while Carragher snapped back with shouts of 'go with the man!' - check out the hilarious moment below.

It may have been Kompany's testimonial, but Carra was out there playing like it was a Champions League final!

He couldn't help but have another pop at Neville after the game, during his post-match interview.

Geoff Shreeves asked the former Liverpool star who he blames for the first goal in what ended as a 2-2 draw and Carragher replied: "You've got to go with your runners haven't you?"

"He gave a goal away in the first minute, pulls his hamstring and then after he goes off - we're fine! We were in total control when he went off!"

Brilliant. We look forward to the pair squabbling in the Sky studio again when the Premier League returns this weekend.
