VOLTA football is on the tip of every FIFA player's tongue right now.

EA Sports' new and exciting game mode is set to launch for FIFA 20 and is sort of a twist on the classic FIFA Street.

Players will have the chance to take part in 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 and professional futsal games.

A lot of the mode will be based around skills and dribbling, so with that in mind, we've decided to have a go at ranking what we think will be the top 10 sides to use on VOLTA.

10. Manchester United (David de Gea, Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford)

Pace, power and two players with five-star skills (Pogba and Rashford).

They may struggle on the 11v11 pitches in real life, but the Red Devils have all the tools to thrive in the virtual cages.

9. Napoli (David Ospina, Kalidou Koulibaly, Dries Mertens, Lorenzo Insigne, Hirving Lozano)

Just look at that front three.

Pace, mesmeric dribbling and clinical finishing - with Koulibaly shielding the trio. Just a bit of a shame about Ospina between the posts...

8. Borussia Dortmund (Roman Burki, Mats Hummels, Julian Brandt, Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus)

Sancho has constantly been described as a 'street footballer' and he plays like it on FIFA too.

Line him up with the beastly Reus, an upgraded Brandt and Hummels and you have one heck of a five-a-side team.

7. Manchester City (Ederson, Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez)

Bernardo's dribbling is out of this world on FIFA, De Bruyne can pass through the eye of a needle and Mahrez possesses five-star skills.

Need we say any more?

6. Real Madrid (Thibaut Courtois, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Eden Hazard, Karim Benzema)

A defender with five-star skills, two of the finest dribblers on the game and a new and improved Benzema (now 87 rated) to top it all off.

You could even add-in the five-star skills of Vinicius Junior, just for more sauce.

5. Bayern Munich (Manuel Neuer, David Alaba, Thiago, Kingsley Coman, Robert Lewandowski)

The original sweeper keeper, the perfect defender for five-a-side and a midfielder with five-star skills.

Oh and don't forget a flying winger with electric dribbling and a striker who can score from anywhere.

4. Liverpool (Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino)

Three words: that front three.

Imagine how hard they're going to be stop in the cages? And will it even be possible to dribble past Van Dijk? Oh and then you have Alisson to beat, great. What a team.

3. Barcelona (Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Sergio Busquets, Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez)

A ball-playing goalkeeper, a defensive midfielder with the dribbling skills of a winger and the most elite front three on the game.

Barca will be hard to topple in those VOLTA cages.

2. Juventus (Wojciech Szczesny, Alex Sandro, Douglas Costa, Juan Cuadrado, Cristiano Ronaldo)

Three players with five-star skills, with one of them also being the deadliest finisher on the game (Ronaldo in case you hadn't guessed), make Juve a fearsome prospect on FIFA 20.

Forza Piemonte Calcio!

1. Paris Saint-Germain (Keylor Navas, Thiago Silva, Marco Verratti, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe)

Skills to pay the bills. Neymar and Mbappe are the two hardest players to defend against in close quarters on FIFA.

Add the steel of Navas and Silva, plus the elegance and tigerish attitude of Verratti, and you have the finest VOLTA team on the game.
