We really have been treated to some gorgeous kits this season.Arsenal and Adidas is simply a match made in heaven with the London club releasing three lovely strips ahead of the new season.

However, if it were a competition, we can say without a shadow of doubt that Nike have won the kit war in 2019/20.
Chelsea's white away shirt is simplistic brilliance while Barcelona and Tottenham's third shirts are quite stunning. The reintroduction of retro Nike logo on some kits is a lovely touch and the German manufacturers must certainly be making a killing this year.

Now, Nike have out done themselves yet again after unveiling Atletico Madrid's shiny new third strip today.

It also includes the retro Nike logo and its pale blue colouring is very easy on the eye.

The unique collar compliments the shirt beautifully and the dark blue hems on the sleeves provide a fantastic contrast.

Thankfully, the sponsor logo does little to spoil it as well - which has been the case with so many shirts this season.

While the battle for Spain's best third kit is raging, the battle for the La Liga title is only just hotting up.

Atleti are sitting pretty at the top of the pile - two points ahead of second placed Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid are already four points adrift while Barcelona are languishing down in eighth - five points behind the leaders.

With record signing Joao Felix looking every bit a world class player, Atletico could well cause a few upsets in Spain and Europe this season.

If they're doing it while wearing that lovely third strip, we certainly won't be complaining.
