A lot was made of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane’s little spat against Burnley a fortnight ago.

Liverpool won the match 3-0 at Turf Moor but Mane’s strop made headlines.

Salah was selfish on a number of occasions and, just before Mane was substituted, should have laid the ball off to him with the goal gaping.

He didn’t and Mane lost his head.

He had to be calmed down by James Milner and other teammates on the bench.

After the match, Jurgen Klopp had this to say: “Sadio Mane is an emotional guy, we are all individuals. Something went not like he wanted, it is not the substitution. We will clarify it in the dressing room.”

Mane and Salah have since had two weeks off after not being involved in international duty.

So, will they kiss and make up when they return to action?

Well, judging by Salah’s recent tweet, we reckon so.

The Egyptian has tweeted a rather hilarious photoshopped video showing the two teammates running towards each other and hugging in the street, looking extremely happy in each other’s company.

Meanwhile, the parent - Jurgen Klopp - also has a big grin on his face as he watches their interaction.

Brilliant.

It will be interesting to see what Salah does if he’s caught between a shot and a pass to Mane during tomorrow’s early kick-off against Newcastle.

It will certainly be playing on his mind to pass, that’s for sure.

Burnley FC v Liverpool FC - Premier League

We can definitely expect them both to be fresh after Klopp described a “perfect” international break for the duo.

“It was perfect for the boys who didn’t have to go, that’s how it is,” Klopp said.

“It’s always that challenge - I’m really happy for the boys being named for their national team, it’s really nice, it’s a big honour and all that stuff, but I’ve said it 500 times, if you see the players who didn’t have to go this time for different reasons then everything is different. “
