Boxing mogul Eddie Hearn announced some huge news last week as he revealed that he was taking control of the rematch between entertainers KSI and Logan Paul.
The two stars of YouTube, who have a combined subscriber count of 40 million on their main channels, went head-to-head in an amateur contest in August 25 as they sold out the 21,000-capacity Manchester Arena.
It saw a number of YouTubers take to the ring against other creators, but the main event saw KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, and Paul contest a draw, and left fans wanting more.
The fight generated over one million buys and hundreds of thousands more watching via other streaming methods, and clearly those numbers for a non-professional showcase were just too good to pass up for a money-maker like Hearn.
Hearn previously stated that promoting a celebrity fight was 'not in his heart', but after seeing the publicity and finances it generated, the Matchroom Boxing director made a u-turn, believing he can attract a new audience to the sport and his fighters.

Anthony Joshua is a fan of the fight, which will take place on November 9 inside Los Angeles' Staples Center, labelling it 'sick' [in a good way], and another fighter who isn't under Hearn's promotion has backed it - and it's none-other than Tyson Fury.
Speaking to FightHype in the build-up to his bout with Otto Wallin this weekend in Las Vegas, Fury said: “It’s very good for the sport of boxing.
“For non-sporting people who are very famous in their own right, it brings new fans, new attention.
“Two guys who’ve never had a fight before professionally, making their pro debuts, are probably going to sell out Staples Centre!
Another crazy aspect to this fight is that some exciting professional competitors are set to be on the undercard to two novices, including a man Fury is very good friends with in Billy Joe Saunders, but even he understands that decision.
“I hear that Devin Haney is going to be on the undercard who is a great prospect, and Billy Joe Saunders who is a two-division world champion, plus many more as well.
“It’s fantastic for boxing because they’ve [Paul and KSI] both got millions of followers, it’s unbelievable actually.
I hope they earn plenty of money and get paid well for it because they’ve got plenty more followers than most people in boxing.
And Fury has a message to those who think that this fight is making a mockery of the sport - and he's even made a prediction on who will win on November 9.
“I don’t think so. Anyone who can spread exposure on boxing and sell it to millions of people and subscribe, tune in, it’s a fantastic job," said The Gypsy King.
“I fancy Logan Paul to beat him. The first was a close one but he’s going to learn from his mistakes and train harder this time.”News Now - Sport News
