A lovely goal.

Virgil van Dijk has a habit of celebrating goals before they go in and he did that once again for Salah's goal.

As soon as Firmino produced the back heel, the Dutch defender raised his arms in the air in celebration.

Salah still had a lot to do but he repaid Van Dijk's faith by notching Liverpool's third.

Van Dijk spoke to BT Sport after the game and praised his side's character.

"It was very important to get the three points again," he said. "It was tough to break them down.

"We analysed them especially against Spurs. How they just keep defending and wait for opportunities.

"To go 1-0 down here is not good but we reacted the right way. It was a good victory."

Van Dijk was then full of praise for Firmino, saying: "He is a very important player for all of us. I know how difficult it is for a defender when the striker drops his position and he is making life difficult for any defender in the world, I think.

"He is so good and I am very happy he is on my team."
