It's finally happened and the curse has clearly been lifted - Jorginho has his first official assist in the Premier League.
The Brazilian-Italian arrived at Chelsea last summer as a renowned pass-master, the one who made Maurizio Sarri's Napoli side tick.
He was in high demand, too - the Blues beat Manchester City to his signature and Pep Guardiola really wanted him in his midfield.
And yet an entire season passed without Jorginho registering a single assist in the Premier League.
Now, there was obviously a few factors that came into play.
- Firmino's brilliant assist v Newcastle
- De Gea agrees new Man Utd contract
- PSG fans reject Neymar on his return
First, Chelsea's strikers were awful, costing him what would have been several assists last season.
And then there's the fact that Jorginho plays deep and is usually the player who starts a move, rather than playing the final killer pass.
But he did just that against Wolves, lifting a lovely ball over the top for Tammy Abraham to run on to.
And Abraham, who already had two goals in the game, stood up the defender, breezed past him, and arrowed it into the far corner.
It was a brilliant goal all-around to give Abraham his hattrick and Jorginho his first official assist.

And so maybe all Jorginho really needed was a forward who could stick the ball in the net...
Abraham can certainly do that - his hattrick made him the Premier League's top scorer this season with seven.
But Chelsea's number five still played well over 3000 passes before a player finished one with a goal.
That's a staggering number and who knows? Maybe this is the start of a new run of assists for Jorginho.
It wasn't the only 'history' made as Chelsea won 5-2 at Wolves.
They also moved onto 11 consecutive goals scored by players aged 21 and under - a new record in the Premier League.
All 11 were from academy graduates, too, and the future looks very bright at Stamford Bridge right now.News Now - Sport News
