Since the rise of the Chinese Super League began a few years ago, we've seen plenty of players leave some of Europe's biggest clubs to play there. These names include Carlos Tevez, Axel Witsel, Paulinho, Ramires, Oscar, Yannick Carrasco, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Hulk, Alexandre Pato and many more. One of the recent big names to swap European football for China was Moussa Dembele, who left Tottenham after six-and-a-half years to join Guangzhou R&F for around £11 million in January. The Belgian midfielder lined up in his side's starting XI against Tianjin Tianhai on Saturday and saw his captain Eran Zahavi produce a moment of pure magic in the final minute of the match.Zahavi levelled the scores at 1-1 three minutes before the interval and then earned R&F all three points late on with an amazing rabona goal.

Zahavi scores unreal rabona in China

As Guangzhou R&F pushed for a winner, they worked the ball out to Miao Tang and the right-back played a first-time ball across the penalty area into the path of Zahavi.

The Israeli striker had actually run slightly past the ball when he controlled it, meaning he couldn't take the shot on his left foot, so he improvised with an unreal rabona goal.

As you can see in the video below, Zahavi struck the ball whilst wrapping his right foot around the back of his standing left leg, leaving the goalkeeper rooted and sparking jubilation in the stands.

The hosts held on to solidify 11th place in the Chinese Super League table, while Tianhai remain second bottom and with plenty to do if they want to avoid relegation.

Who is Eran Zahavi?

Zahavi is an Israeli international who won the 2017 Chinese Super League MVP award and has now registered a ridiculous 96 goals in 104 matches for R&F since joining the club in 2016.

The 32-year-old R&F skipper has previously played for Palermo in Serie A and Maccabi Tel Aviv, and he's scored 17 goals in 48 caps for his country.
