Nobody gave Norwich a prayer against Manchester City on Saturday evening.
Daniel Farke’s side had 11 first-team players ruled out ahead of their clash against the champions.
The crisis was so bad that Farke had to select two goalkeepers on the bench just to make up the numbers.
But, remarkably, Norwich raced into a two-goal lead after 28 minutes.
Sergio Aguero’s header in first half injury-time completely changed the mood around Carrow Road, though.

City would surely come out and improve after the break.
But within five minutes of the restart, Norwich had restored their two-goal lead.
Rodri set up a grandstand finish with his first goal for City in the 88th-minute.
Could Norwich hold on for memorable victory?
As the home fans anxiously watched the seconds tick down, one supporter decided to capture the final few seconds on his mobile phone.
The fan, who was sat near the corner flag, captured Todd Cantwell trying to run down time right in front of him.
Seconds later, Kevin Friend was blowing the final whistle.
The video captures the emotion of football as the surrounding Norwich fans struggle to comprehend what they’ve just witnessed.
Meanwhile, Cantwell collapses to the ground in a mix of exhaustion and disbelief.
It really does capture everything that’s beautiful about football.
After the match, Farke admitted that it was a "special" day for the football club.
"Of course it is a special day for us and for the club, against one of the best teams in the world and when we have so many injuries," he said.
"We had to be special in our plan for City because they are the best team in the world but we had setbacks too with our injuries. We deserve the win, we were exceptional."News Now - Sport News
