Roberto Firmino was in scintillating form on Saturday.Liverpool were in deep trouble early on against Newcastle. They had a dismal start to the game and found themselves 1-0 down after just five minutes.Sadio Mane restored parity 20 minutes later but the Reds were really struggling to get going. That was until Roberto Firmino entered the fray. The Brazilian forward started on the bench after featuring twice for Brazil over the international break.

But, with Divock Origi getting injured and Liverpool struggling, Jurgen Klopp felt the need to send him on.

And what a decision that turned to be. Firmino's introduction transformed the game and Liverpool suddenly looked like their usual selves in attack.

They scored just three minutes after he was substituted on and Firmino would go on to play a huge part in Liverpool's third goal.

The 27-year-old produced a beautiful back heel assist that completely bamboozled the Newcastle defence and sent Salah clear.

Salah then did Firmino's moment of magic justice as he finished past Martin Dubravka to make the points safe for Liverpool.

The two players have built up quite a connection ever since the Egyptian forward signed for Liverpool back in 2017.

Salah and Firmino have combined for countless goals in the past few seasons, with the latter more often than not being the provider.

On the back of Salah's goal on Saturday one Liverpool fan, @HS_10Ftbol, has put together a video showing a number of instances where the two players have combined for a 'one-two'.

The Liverpool supporter has dubbed them 'one-two specialists' and that is proven by the footage.

Watch it below:

What a connection the two players have.

A number of teams have been unable to stop their one-two's, including Manchester City, Southampton and Leicester.

Newcastle were the latest team to fallen victim to a Salah and Firmino one-two and they surely won't be the last.
