Rusev returned to the WWE last night on Monday Night Raw after taking several months off, but he's been inserted into an awful storyline involving Maria and Mike Kanellis.
Fans have been missing Rusev over the past couple of months in WWE, as he hadn't been seen in the ring since the 51-Man Battle Royal at Super ShowDown back in June.
The Bulgarian Brute made his return on Raw, without his wife Lana, and he's been inserted into a terrible storyline involving Mike Kanellis and his pregnant wife Maria.
Maria hosted a gender-reveal party for her child, and while she made clear that her baby was a boy, she didn't let Mike Kanellis celebrate, as she revealed Ricochet was actually the father of her child.
Mike then challenged Ricochet to a match, but The One and Only was able to hit the Recoil for the easy win. Maria then emerged and admitted she lied, revealing the real father of her child to be Rusev.

The Bulgarian Brute then had a match against Mike, picking up a quick victory after hitting the Machka Kick and the Accolade.
Many WWE fans are in agreement that this was a horrible way to book Rusev's return to the WWE after being on hiatus for the past couple of months.
Fans are also in agreement that they don't see The Bulgarian Brute staying in a storyline with Maria for very long either, as it would mean an on-screen split from real-life wife and fellow superstar Lana.
After the show, Rusev was asked by Kayla Braxton if he actually was the father of Maria's child, to which he couldn't give a straight answer.
He said: “Lot of questions. Lot of questions going on. At this point in time I’m just not ready to answer them. And that’s that.”
While WWE is trying to add as much intrigue as possible to Rusev's current storyline with Maria and Mike Kanellis, many fans will be hoping The Bulgarian Brute is moved on to another storyline very quickly now that he is back inside the squared circle.News Now - Sport News
