There was plenty of crowd trouble in Naples ahead of the fixture last season. It meant that despite selling 2,500 tickets for tonight’s fixture, less than 1,000 supporters made the journey.
It certainly is an intimidating place to go.
And the Napoli fans certainly play their part before kick-off.
At the end of the Champions League anthem, the locals finish it off with shouting ’the Champions’ as loud as they possibly can.
And it’s genuinely spine-tingling.

Earlier this week, Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti claimed that "'The Champions' roar is so beautiful in Naples, you don't even have to go to the stadium to hear it.”
And there’s a video that proves it.
Being filmed a long way away from the San Paolo, you can faintly hear the famous Champions League anthem being played.
Then, there’s an almighty cry of ‘The Champions.’
