SmackDown Live raised their game last night with a solid episode, just over two weeks before their big move to FOX.
Brock Lesnar is seemingly with the brand for the foreseeable future and there is a strong storyline still running that involves both Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.
The upcoming WWE Draft could change a lot of things though, and with FOX spending a lot of money to bring SmackDown to their network, there's every chance some Raw stars could be ending up on the blue brand full-time.
There is even a strong suggestion that 'The Man' Becky Lynch could be heading to SmackDown come October 11, as she took part in a FOX photoshoot very recently.
Speaking of 'The Man', WWE and the wrestling legend that is Ric Flair could soon become embroiled in a court battle over Lynch's nickname.
- AEW paid for advert shown during SmackDown
- Lesnar v Kofi for WWE Title confirmed for Oct 4 SD Live
- Owens set to appear on NXT's USA Network premiere
Flair believes it is too similar to his catchphrase and has registered to trademark it under his company, but would be happy for the Irishwoman to continue using it as long as WWE pay him.
Considering The Nature Boy was shown backstage though during SmackDown with his daughter, Charlotte, it doesn't look like there is currently any bad blood between the two parties, but a further surprise regarding the Flairs was to come.
Before Charlotte could compete in her match against Sasha Banks, one-third of the rap group Migos - Offset - appeared before his home city crowd of Atlanta to introduce the nine-time Women's Champion.
And he did it in complete style, dressed in a pink Flair robe as he lapped up the attention from the WWE Universe.
Those who know about rap music and Migos know that the group and the WWE Hall of Famer are very well connected with each other, and Offset featured on 21 Savage's 'Ric Flair Drip' song, with Flair himself in the music video.
Offset and Migos have a huge fanbase, and in Vince McMahon's eyes his appearance will be good mainstream publicity for the company.
If only Sasha Banks had her cousin Snoop Dogg bring her to the ring like he did at WrestleMania 32, then we could've had an all-out rap war in the middle of a WWE ring in Hot-lanta last night!News Now - Sport News
