Manchester United headed into Sunday's game against West Ham looking to end their awful run of form away from home in the Premier League.
Since beating Crystal Palace 3-1 in February, the Red Devils have won zero, drawn three and lost four games on the road.
Poor defending has largely been to blame, though the £80m signing of Harry Maguire from Leicester City in the summer was meant to solve that issue.
But it hasn't, which has raised questions over the quality of Maguire's partner at centre-back: Victor Lindelof.
Lindelof, 25, was signed by Jose Mourinho for €35m in 2017 but has struggled to live up to expectation in Manchester.
His and Maguire's partnership was a talking point on Sky Sports ahead of the game at the London Stadium, with Mourinho critical of the Swede.
"He (Lindelof) can be bullied one-on-one in the box," Mourinho said. "He's not very good in the air and Maguire has that presence and physicality that's very important."
Hilariously, Lindelof proved Mourinho exactly right two seconds later as he went up for a header during a warm-up drill with Maguire and completely missed it.
Under no pressure whatsoever, Lindelof mistimed his jump and watched as the ball went straight over his head. Check it out below - and Mourinho's timely comments - from 1:10.
Oh Victor, you've had an absolute mare.
Mourinho was desperate to sign a new centre-back at United in the summer of 2018 and despite being linked with the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Kalidou Koulibaly, he didn't get one.
It just goes to show that he was right all along about the quality of United's defence. Blame Ed Woodward.News Now - Sport News
