The Best FIFA Football Awards are taking place on Monday night.

Stars from the men's and women's game will be honoured by football's governing body after another exciting season and what's been a brilliant summer.

There are nine individual prizes up for grabs, including best player, best coach and of course, the Puskas Award.

This year also debuts the best goalkeeper award, as well as the FIFPRO Women's World11, which joins the men's XI.

Fans are always excited to see who has made that team and this year, a total of 55 players were in contention to be in the Men's World11.

The confirmed lineup will be announced later tonight, but according to Spanish newspaper AS, there will be a few shocks.

Real Madrid will apparently be represented by four players in the XI, compared to just two from Barcelona

Per the report, Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Eden Hazard will be included, while just Lionel Messi and Frenkie de Jong will make the cut for Barca.

It seems strange that Madrid are better represented that their rivals after last season, considering Ernesto Valverde's side won La Liga and had a much better campaign overall.

Although it's also not confirmed, all three men nominated for the Men's best player - Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk - should make the team.

Calling the winner of that award is very tough, considering all three players are coming off the back of brilliant seasons.

Messi won the league with Barcelona and also helped his side to the Champions League semi-final and Copa del Rey final.

On an individual level, he claimed the European Golden Shoe as continent’s top goalscorer and was La Liga’s top assist-maker. The Argentine also won bronze at Copa America with his nation.

Ronaldo himself won Serie A with Juventus while winning the league's MVP award. He also guided Portugal to Nations League glory over the summer, finishing as top goalscorer at the tournament.

Van Dijk was key to Liverpool's Champions League winning season and he was almost unbeatable at the back.

The Dutchman already won the PFA Players' Player and Premier League Player of the Year awards last season and was named as UEFA's player of the year. Can he add another award tonight?

All three men should have a place in the World XI, but only one will be crowned by FIFA as the best player in the world.
