Liverpool fans highlight the difference between Martin Tyler and Peter Drury's commentary

Liverpool made it six wins out six this season with a 2-1 victory against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side looked as though they were cruising to their 15th consecutive Premier League victory.

However, N’Golo Kante made things nervy for the Reds with a terrific strike 20 minutes from time.

But, by the skin of their teeth, Liverpool held out.

It may not have been the best performance but Liverpool fans will be delighted with 18 points from their opening six matches.

Right now, there is very little to be moaning about from a Liverpool point of view.

However, during the match, there was something getting on the nerves of Liverpool fans. Or to be more specific, someone.

Throughoutout the 90 minutes, Sky Sports commentator Martin Tyler was trending on Twitter with Liverpool fans frustrated with his work.

In particular, they felt that he didn’t quite do Trent Alexander-Arnold’s brilliant opener justice.

From a close-range free-kick, Mohamed Salah rolled the ball to the right-back who smashed the ball into the top corner.

But Tyler didn’t sound particularly impressed as he described Liverpool’s ‘think thinking, smart shooting.’

Instead, Liverpool fans seem to prefer the energetic commentary is Peter Drury, who was commenting on the match for the official Premier League channel.

He described Alexander-Arnold’s goal as “just glorious execution” and a “beautiful, beautiful Liverpool goal.”

He certainly sounded a tad more excited.
