Philippe Coutinho is the ninth player to score in all of Europe's top four leagues

Philippe Coutinho looked back to his brilliant best during Bayern Munich 4-0 FC Koln.

There can be no doubting that Coutinho is one of the best in business on his day, but supporters have only seen glimpses of that ability since he waved goodbye to Liverpool in 2018.

Having enjoyed a stellar half-decade on Merseyside, the Brazilian completed his dream move to Barcelona and looked to be settling in nicely with a strong first six months in Spain.

However, his first full season at Camp Nou was nothing short of a disaster and wide-spread criticism saw him looking for a new adventure just one year later.

While Coutinho is still technically a Barcelona player, it looks unlikely that he'll ever pull on the famous jersey again after completing a loan move to Bayern with an option to buy.

Coutinho off the mark for Bayern

And having impressed on his first start against Red Star Belgrade, Coutinho went one better with a goal, assist and Man of the Match performance at the weekend.

Sure, his opening strike was only a penalty, although he was forced to take it twice, but it also gave Coutinho the distinction of scoring in all of Europe's top four leagues.

Such an impressive feat - completed over the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga - has only been achieved by nine players in history, according to Squawka.
