When you think back to iconic boots, one of the first pairs of boots that come to mind were Adidas' F50 Tunit's.

The Tunit's were released ahead of the 2006 World Cup in Germany and quickly became one of the most popular football boots at that time.

David Villa, Alessandro del Piero, Bastian Schweinsteiger and an up-and-coming Lionel Messi were just a few stars that wore them.

There were rumours last year that the boots will be making a comeback.

And, that was confirmed by Adidas on Tuesday, who officially launched the F50.6 Tunit's.

They come in the famous blue, yellow and white design and they look stunning.

Just beautiful. There's going to be a lot of people who wore the originals wanting to get their hands on a pair of these.

The boots are limited edition and are available to buy in a variety of sizes for £180 on Prodirectsoccer.com.

Their description of the boots reads: "A legendary design with modern technology sees the limited edition adidas X 506+ FG Tunit boots bring old school back to the pitch with performance fit for the top flight."

It's currently unknown which professional footballers decided to wear the boots although, according to Soccer Bible, one man that may end up wearing them is Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema.

Benzema currently wears that X 19.1 and could potentially switch things up after the Tunit's re-release.

Who knows, maybe Messi himself will want to wear the boots he wore when he was first making a name for himself in professional football?
