The FIFPro World XI for 2019 was revealed during Monday night’s The Best awards.Alisson was selected in goal; Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Virgil van Dijk and Matthijs de Ligt in defence; Luka Modric and Frenkie De Jong in midfield; Cristiano Ronaldo and Eden Hazard on the wings, and Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi upfront.A few surprising inclusion - Marcelo over Roberson?! - but, on the whole, fairly predictable. But what about a Worst XI?Spanish newspaper Marca have asked their readers to vote - and the results are now in.

Goalkeeper: Loris Karius
Karius made a calamitous mistake while playing for Besiktas against Slovan Bratislava, which probably explains why he’s been voted as the Worst XI’s goalkeeper.
Right-back: Stephan Lichtsteiner
The 35-year-old was very disappointing at Arsenal and left the Emirates Stadium after only one season in the summer. He now plays for FC Augsburg.
Centre-back: Shkodran Mustafi
Disastrous at times last season, Mustafi can count his lucky stars that he’s still an Arsenal player.
Centre-back: Phil Jones
One of the worst centre-backs in Europe in 2019? Seems a bit harsh. He hasn’t been amazing but not sure he deserved a spot in this team alongside Mustafi.
Left-back: Layvin Kurzawa
Paris Saint-Germain’s France international is in at left-back.
Central midfield: Renato Sanches
The Portuguese midfielder left Bayern Munich for Lille in the summer after failing to convince at the Allianz Arena.
Central midfield: Fred
The Brazilian has endured an abysmal start to his Manchester United career. Was he really worth £52 million?
Central midfield: Philippe Coutinho
A top player but his move to Barcelona didn’t work out as planned. The Brazilian playmaker is now at Bayern Munich on loan.
Forward: Quincy Promes
Despite scoring just three goals in 49 appearances for Sevilla last season, Promes was signed by Ajax in the summer.
Forward: Javier Pastore
Pastore joined AS Roma from PSG last year and only made 17 appearances in his debut campaign with the Giallorossi.
Forward: Alexis Sanchez
The worst signing in Manchester United’s recent history. Now with Inter Milan.
And here’s the Worst XI in formation…
