Just under two weeks ago, Tyson Fury narrowly defeated, then, undeafted Swedish boxer Otto Wallin, whilst sustaining a gastly battle scar in the process.

The bout took place in the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, but the Gypsy King didn't reach the number of spectators he was probably hoping for.

With the arena consisting of a capacity of 20,000, Fury and Frank Warren only provided seats for 8,249 fans, as per World Boxing News.

Even more worringly, Fury himself only managed to sell 3,577 tickets, with the remainder of sales falling in the complimentary category.

Therefore, the Brit filled just 17.89% of the T-Mobile Arena's capacity, according to the official figures released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

In addition to this, Chief of the Nevada State Athletic Commission Bob Bennett confirmed that the gate receipts for this fight totalled to $999,772.50, which is $227.50 less than what Tyson Fury earned that night.

Unfortunately for Fury, he's no stranger to questionable attendances in Las Vegas. The Gyspy King fought Tom Schwarz on his Las Vegas debut back in June where just 9,012 tickets were sold at the MGM Grand's 17,000 seater arena.

Regarding the Fury/Wallin fight itself, the favourite ultimately struggled to silence the Swede and relied on points to secure the victory. However, Fury's potential future challenger Deontay Wilder was impressed by Wallin's performance.

"Otto Wallin put up a good fight. I was most impressed with Wallin when he cut Fury open.

“When you cut a guy open with that deep of a cut, it was two inches long or longer, he even at one time tried to grab the boy’s eye and tried to pull it out, I said, ‘S***, there you go, that’s what you got to do, rough them up, put them in a headlock, put the sweat up in the eye."

The Fury vs Wilder rematch looks set to take place Stateside with a date likely to be in February, although nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
