It is quite common that UFC events have one main event fight, something that fans are all waiting for at the end of the night, however, fans will be treated to a triple-header in December.

UFC 245 is slated to be staged in Las Vegas on December 14, which could witness three huge title bouts in the same night.

Authorities are close to booking Kamaru Usman vs Colby Covington for the welterweight title, set to be the heaviest belt on the line at UFC 245.

UFC originally targeted Usman vs Covington for November in New York, however, the deal collapsed in the penultimate stages, which led to them eventually booking Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz.

American MMA champion Max Holloway is another one of the big names who will defend his UFC featherweight title on the night, against Alexander Volkanovski.

Holloway will have possibly the toughest test of his fourth defence of the 145lbs belt with Australian challenger Volkanovski unbeaten inside the Octagon and he is coming into the contest on the back of a seven-fight winning streak.

The women's division has produced some memorable moments in the past in events of this magnitude, and this time around it will surely be no different.

Women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes will be facing Germaine de Randamie.

Nunes, who successfully defended her title against Holly Holm at UFC 239 in July, will fight to retain the belt for the second time this year.

Other notable fights include Robbie Lawler vs. Santiago Ponzinibbio and Matt Brown vs. Ben Saunders.
