FIFA 20 has finally landed.

There's been a lot of hype around this year's instalment, given how much has been promised by EA Sports.

New features such as a street football game mode, VOLTA, debut, while the game developers also promised improvements to classics like Ultimate Team and Career Mode.

However, it seems some fans have been left very disappointed by the latter on release day.

By Friday afternoon #FixCareerMode was trending in the United Kingdom on Twitter.

What's this thread full of you ask? A whole lot of angry FIFA players.

It seems there are a lot of bugs in the most popular game mode and some fans feel that they've been ripped off by EA Sports.

Many of the issues surround AI team selections, with top clubs appearing to select reserves and youth players throughout the season.

Some gamers posted screenshots of the Premier League table in Career Mode too - the problem being that Liverpool were top after 74 games - with 149 points. How bizarre.

Incredibly, another player even posted a screenshot of Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic standing on the pitch during a game between Watford and West Ham. How does that even happen?!

Twitter user @coaleebrie went as far as compiling a list of all the issues on day one, which includes at least 25 bugs. Check it out below.

This public outcry doesn't appear to be an empty threat either, with one player tweeting:

"If @EASPORTSFIFA don't release a day one patch for career mode then I'm just selling my copy and buying #PES from now on."

EA were hoping that #FIFAFriday would be the only Twitter trend on release day, but that's been massively overshadowed by one demanding they fix Career Mode.

It's certainly not a good look. Let's hope FIFA 20 is sorted out quickly, perhaps with an early patch.
