We're now only one week away from SmackDown's brand new era starting on FOX, and the deck is being absolutely stacked in preparation.

It's not just a new start for SmackDown that's happening in WWE next week, as 'Premiere Week' sees Raw have a 'season premiere' on the USA Network and NXT's first full two hours on the same channel.

The main attraction though is on October 4, when the blue brand rolls into Los Angeles on a Friday night for the first time since 2015.

And FOX are not playing about as they've assembled an all-star line-up for their first venture into wrestling.

Already advertised to be showing up at the Staples Center were a host of legends, such as Kurt Angle, Sting, Ric Flair, Trish Stratus and Lita - all have been on WWE television within the last year though so it's not a huge surprise.

Goldberg will also be there, maybe to further his feud with Dolph Ziggler, who he defeated at SummerSlam in quick fashion.

The pair had a 'confrontation' at a steak house in Las Vegas last week, and it's unclear whether or not it was legitimate or if we are building towards another match between the two.

And added to the legendary line-up is Stone Cold Steve Austin, who said this week he feels like he could wrestle again in WWE.

That's not all - a ton of matches are set to happen, including Brock Lesnar's first match on a weekly televised WWE programme in over 15 years.

Lesnar will challenge Kofi Kingston for his WWE Championship, and there's more matches with high stakes on the line.

Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon will contest a Ladder Match; if Shane wins Owens will stay gone from WWE, but if KO wins - Shane is the one that has to leave.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair will team up again to face Sasha Banks and Bayley, just two nights before they respectively go head-to-head in singles matches at Hell In A Cell.

It's going to be a night you DON'T want to miss as FOX looks to pull out all the stops in their debut broadcast.
