Philippe Coutinho is enjoying his football once again.

After a difficult 2018/19 with Barcelona, the Brazilian playmaker was sent out on loan to Bayern Munich and it may just be the best thing to happen in his career.

Niko Kovac has handed Coutinho the number 10 role in his team and he has thrived ever since.

With the pacy duo of Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman out wide and Robert Lewandowski just ahead of him, Coutinho has rediscovered his mojo.

Those days of being whistled by the Camp Nou crowd look a distant memory and his return to England last night was yet another success story from his 2019/20 campaign so far.

Coutinho turned in a magical performance in Bayern's 7-2 win over Tottenham and his highlights from the game are simply a joy to watch.

We can only apologise for the dance music in the background...

COUTINHO'S HIGHLIGHT REEL

Flicks, tricks, chances created and one magical assist. Well played, Philippe.

There may have been a few misplaced passes, but when you're constantly trying to play the killer ball in behind an opposing defence, there are going to be a few that fail.

Coutinho made four key passes during the game, created the most chances (four) and was not dispossessed by the Spurs defence once, per WhoScored.

He's finally mirroring the performances he produced in a central position for Liverpool shortly before his ill-fated move to Barcelona.

Given the freedom to move about the pitch and linkup with the entire forward line, Coutinho looks a seriously dangerous attacking weapon.

At Barca, he was often shunned to the left-hand side, due to the fact the space he often found in the middle was occupied by both Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

But Kovac and Bayern have handed him a new lease of lie, which means that defenders across Europe need to beware the Coutinho beast once again.
