Manchester United's poor form continued with a scoreless draw against AZ in the Europa League on Thursday.

On the face of things, a draw away at arguably their toughest opponents in Group L could be considered a good result.

However, it was the manner of their draw which is concerning.

Ole Gunnar Solskjear fielded a fairly strong side featuring the likes of Daniel James and Juan Mata.

But they were unable to record a single shot on target throughout the 90 minutes.

The result extended their winless run away from Old Trafford to 10 games.

Their last win away actually came back in March, over six months ago, when they beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Not even Marcus Rashford's introduction led to a shot on target on Thursday.

Solskjaer sent him on in the 63rd minute hoping he could be the match winner. But he was largely ineffectual.

And during his short time on the pitch he took one of the worst free-kicks of the season.

With seven minutes remaining and United needing a goal, they won a free-kick in a tight angle on the left-hand side.

It represented a good chance for United to get the ball into the box in the hopes that one of their bigger players could get on the end of it.

However, for some reason, Rashford shot. And he got it all wrong.

From an almost impossible angle to score, Rashford put his laces through the ball and sent it well over the bar.

Watch it below:

He genuinely thought he was going to score from there.

Unfortunately, it's the latest of a series of poor free-kicks from Rashford.

The English youngster has tried to emulate Cristiano Ronaldo's famous technique but he very rarely gets it right.

A stat was circulating after the game showing United hadn't actually scored from a corner or indirect free-kick in 218 days.

That's the longest streak of any team in the Premier League.

When you've got Rashford on set pieces shooting from ridiculous angles, it's no wonder why.
