Arsenal enjoyed a perfect night against Standard Liege in the Europa League on Thursday.

Goals from Gabriel Martinelli (2), Joe Willock and Dani Ceballos sealed a convincing 4-0 victory which included another clean sheet for the Gunners.

Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney both started and impressed at full-back, while Rob Holding was once again solid and so was Shkodran Mustafi.

Arsenal dominated from start to finish at the Emirates Stadium and with six points out of six and +7 goal difference they're in complete control of Group F.

This young team are going to take some stopping in the Europa League.

It was a particularly special evening for Bellerin, who was named captain by Unai Emery as he made his first start since returning from injury.

The Spanish right-back wasn't quite as influential as Tierney - most of Arsenal's attacking play came down the left-hand side - but he produced a fine display nonetheless.

He gave a post-match interview with BT Sport afterwards and, with the captain's armband on, Bellerin really showed his class. Watch it below.

ON A GREAT TEAM PERFORMANCE

"Thank you very much. I think the team had a great performance. We came from beating Nottingham Forest at home which was a very important win for us, we showed great character in that win, the team always wanted more goals which is the way to show respect, always playing at 100%.

"We wanted to emulate that style of play, that pressing, even when we're winning 3-0 or 4-0. You can see that the team is hungry, the team wants to win and the team wants to improve.

"I’m very happy for the boys because apart from the technical ability everyone put up a great fight and you could see everyone pressing in the last 10 minutes of the game at 4-0."

ON GABRIEL MARTINELLI

"He's been a player since he's come into the team. He's kept his head down and worked really hard, listened to the coaches and the players, and it shows on the pitch.

"He's doing what the coach is asking him to do which is the most important thing. He's still very young, I’m sure there's a lot to come from him, but everyone is really happy for him for scoring goals and helping the team in the way he's doing."

ON RETURNING FROM INJURY

"It's one of the best feelings. For anyone who's been injured with an injury like that they understand how hard it is, the process, but it's something that's made me more mature and a better human and a better player.

"I'm so grateful to all the coaches, all the physios, my friends and family who have been around me and made it that little bit easier. Hopefully I'm going to get to enjoy my football."
